That one might therefore be quite detectable since a few days ago and no other cracked version has been released since. Mousepad released a new version today to fix these problems, BUT the vast majority of maphackers are using some cracked version (6.1c I think) since it now costs money. They've had this one all the way since 1.10 was released, but problem is that the first MH release that supported 1.10 detected (and avoided) this anti hack thing so it has never really been a problem.

I noticed this too and researched it a bit.īlizzard did indeed update their Maphack scanner. When I found my first Wizspike on the new ladder, I danced around the room for 5 minutes, whereas botters probably get annoyed that it's eating up 2 of their precious inventory spaces. The people who cheat are really cheating themselves. Bliz just pwnd you, cheater-who's-too-dumb-and-lazy-to-download-new-hacks-(but-if-you're-cheating-you're-obviously-lazy). Sooo, if your maphack is still working fine, that means you don't have a new version with the Blizzard-maphack-detection detection, and Bliz is probably tracking your sorry butt as I write. I haven't heard of any way around it, which is why the maphacks simply unload, but we'll see what happens. I guess it's been turned off for a long time now, and Bliz just turned it back on. I really don't remember much about it because it's been turned off for months, but it was on a while ago so all the all the good maphack programmers made their maphacks unload if they found this file was trying to detect them. (OK, I admit one of the previous 4 sentences is a lie.)Īpparently, Bliz has turned ExtraWork.dll on again. Oh, and I use maphack and have 10 computers running a total of 40 Pindle/Meph/Andy/Shenk/Eldrich/Diablo/Baal/DClone/Reziarfg bots all using Godmode, which I use to find items to sell on ebay using my 3 private dupes.

Also, I like using single-player editors and mods to test out new builds, and you can't get those here anymore. And, since I'm kinda a programmer, I like seeing how all of their little programs work. Know thy enemy (there's too many ways to get cheated otherwise, especially with respect to trading). Hope this is true and all maphackers end up wandering around in the blood moor for the rest of their pathetic lives. Ha ha, I bet half of these idiot maphackers don't even know how to follow the dirt roads. The only really depressing thing about all of this is how much the line wait times dropped, because that meant that TONS of people were botting. Yeah, they already have ways to get their bots back up (but apparently most of the botters haven't figured this out) and they apparently let some non-ladder items on the ladder, but at least they're trying. Kick 'em in the teeth, Bliz, and when they fall down, kick 'em some more, and then, when they're lying there unconscious, kick 'em again! Deletes duped runes, messes with bots, and attacks maphacking all within a week. Heh, if this is true, I'm starting to kinda like Blizzard again. Apparently the maphacks unload after they select a character. There seems to be a lot of complaints in the various hacker forums that their maphacks aren't working anymore.
